Universal Ambassador for Peace

I’ve always believed that peace begins with listening, understanding and the courage to turn wounds into bridges. For me, being a Universal Ambassador for Peace means sowing the seeds of reconciliation through words, actions and lasting commitments – so that every generation can believe in a more humane future.

Carrying the Responsibility of Peace

Becoming a Universal Ambassador for Peace is no accident. In my vernacular language, Songye, my name – Tshilomboji – literally means “Great Leader and Peacemaker”, and I represent the act of making peace or acting in the sense of lasting Peace. This name, received at birth, has become a way of life. For me, being a peacebearer is more than a mission: it’s a responsibility rooted in my identity.

A commitment forged by life

I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a country marked by more than three decades of conflict. I lived through the consequences of war, regime change and shattered hopes. It’s this experience that has forged me and given me the will to act – so that future generations can grow up in a fairer, more serene world.

Be Part of the Change

The FOTM Foundation

To give concrete expression to this commitment, I founded FOTM – Fondation pour la Promotion de la Paix et de la Justice Distributive (Foundation for the Promotion of Peace and Distributive Justice). Present in several countries, the foundation promotes awareness, dialogue and social transformation. It works for lasting peace, built on sharing, equity and dignity.

Education Programs

We believe knowledge opens doors. Through scholarships, workshops, and literacy projects, we help children and young adults gain access to the tools they need to shape a brighter future.

Cultural Projects

Culture is identity. We support initiatives that preserve traditions, promote creativity, and celebrate the richness of our heritage while connecting it to today’s world.

Peace Initiatives

True peace begins with understanding. Our programs focus on dialogue, reconciliation, and unity, building bridges where division once stood.

Community Empowerment

Lasting change comes from within. By supporting local leaders, entrepreneurs, and community projects, we turn ideas into real action that uplifts entire communities.
